It’s fall, and the Pumpkin Pie Smoothie is back and better than ever!
This time I’m making it “4 Hour Body friendly” with avocado instead of banana, and guess what – it works! The color is a little less vibrantly orange, but that’s ok.
Here’s the latest recipe:
– 1 packet of Sustain protein powder
– 1/2 cup canned pumpkin (be sure to use BPA-free cans)
– 1/4 of an avocado
– 1 tbsp hemp seeds
– 1 tbsp almond butter
– 1 tsp of blackstrap molasses (optional – I use this to up my iron intake)
– 1/2 tsp cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice (or just a few hefty shakes – I don’t measure!)
– Water and ice
Give it a spin in the Vitamix and you’re on your way! It’s rich, creamy, filling and delicious.
