I’ve posted a similar recipe (Coco Cocoa Chia Mousse) on the blog before, but just had to share this new and improved version. We’ve been making this at work, plus I got inspired by this recipe to add a dash of chili pepper flakes for a little kick. I promise you will be licking the bowl and the best part is there is NO sugar but lots of pure deliciousness in this dessert.
I’ve served this to guests at least 3 times now and everyone loves it!
Chocolate Mousse with a Chili Pepper Kick
– 1 can coconut milk
– 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
– 1/4 cup cocoa powder
– 2 to 3 tbsp chia seeds
– 3 packets stevia
– 1 tbsp sunflower seed butter or peanut butter
– Dash of cinnamon
– Dash of red chili pepper flakes .. up to 1/4 tsp
Just add everything to the Vitamix or blender, give it a spin and let it chill in the fridge for at least 1/2 hour before serving. Garnish with berries and enjoy!
